DE: Heute zeig ich euch endlich was ich in meinem zweitem Modedesign Workshop in der Uni gemacht habe und zwar ganz genau von der Idee bis zum fertigen Shooting. Also hier kommt die Foto-Story.
EN: Today I can finally show you what I made during my second fashion design workshop. Beginning with the idea and ending with the shooting. So here is the photo-story.
DE: Alles begann mit diesem Schnittdiagramm aus dem 1700-1800 Jh. Wir sollen diesen in Originalgröße übertragen und uns überlegen wie die Teile zusammengehören. Dabei haben wir uns die meisten Gedanken über diese seltsamen Vierecke (und das kleine Herz) gemacht.
EN: Everything started with a paper with a diagram from the 1700-1800 century. We had to copy it into original size and think about how to put the pieces together. We spent the most thoughts on what to do with the squares (and tht tiny heart).
DE: So sah das Hemd aus nachdem ich es aus Nesselstoff angefertig habe. Echt wahnsinn, dass diese Einheitsgröße früher täglich von Männern und Frauen getragen wurde!
EN: And this is how it looked sewed (at frist just nettle). It’s pure madness that in baroque epoch both women and men wore this huge „thing“ everyday.
DE: So sah das Playsuit zwischenzeitlich aus: wie ein rießiges Zelt zum anziehen! Nach dem einnähen des Gummis sah das Ganze gleich viel besser aus!
EN: This is how the Playsuit looked temporarily: Like a big tent you can put on. After adding the elastic band it looked better immediately.
DE: Hier bin ich gerade dabei den fertigen Jumpsuit an einer Kommilitonin zu präsentieren, Ich trage die von ihr entworfene Jacke mit Puffärmeln.
EN: This is me while presenting my Jumpsuit and wearing the bolerojacket, the girl designed for this project.
DE: Hier habe ich nochmal ein Kleid von einem Kommilitonen an. Ich fand das Kleid einfach wunderbar (auch wenn es nicht ganz meine Größe war). Es war einfch traumhaft gemacht und aus tollen Materialien. Leider war der Professor nicht ganz so begeistert, weil es ein wenig neben der Aufgabenstellung lag. Aber trotzdem eine schneidertechnisch gesehene Meisterleistung!
EN: On this photo I wear a dress another student designed. I loved it, though it wasn’t my size exactly. The materials he used were great and it felt simply wonderful. The professor thought he didn’t quite fulfill the task, but it still I think it is a great masterpiece of work.
DE: Als nächstes sollten wir das Outftit an einem unpassenden Ort fotografieren. Ich suchte mir eine Baustelle aus, wo gerade eine Hausfassade erneuert wurde und zwang mein Model dort hinaufzuklettern ;)
EN: Next ting we had to shoot the designed dress in an unlikely surrounding. I chose a building lot and forced my model to climb up the scaffolding ;)

DE: Und dieses Bild hab ich dan letztendlich ausgewählt und zur Benotung abgegebn. Drückt mir die Daumen, dass es den Professoren gefällt. (Ich weiß, dass es stark bearbeitet ist, aber nach einer kurzen Besprechung mit dem Prof sollte ich das rot weniger knallig machen und den Jumpsuit schärfen).
EN: This is the picture I chose and that will be marked by the professors. Keep your fingers crossed for me and hope that they like it.
